The incubator provides an extensive set of resources for clients. In some cases the resources can be provided free of charge. For some of the external resources available, there is a fee that is charged. Some of the external companies identified by the incubator as interested in new ventures have their own fee structure. Each of the service areas is described below.
Business Services
There are many types of business services available to incubator clients. The BDI, along with the support of the Wake Forest University Business School, the Board of Advisors, and associates across the region, may provide the following business assistance for incubator clients:
- Review business plan - its content, structure, and feasibility.
- Analyze, improve, and further develop company's products or services.
- Provide assessment/strategy for handling intellectual property.
- Help with marketing analysis and strategy.
- Develop a management team, corporate structure, and/or board of advisors.
- Examine all cash flow statements, pro forma, business valuation, and financial assumptions.
- Determine if ready for initial capital investment and prepare for due diligence process.
- Make contacts to enhance success of business.

Regenerative Medicine
Assistance with Regenerative Medicine is a unique strength of the incubator through its partnership with the Wake Forest Institute of Regenerative Medicine. Innovative collaborations can be structured to assist young companies with all aspects of delivering regenerative medicine products to market.

Bioscience
Assistance with Bioscience is a particular strength of the incubator based on the strength in Bioscience at Wake Forest School of Medicine. The incubator is working cooperatively with the Office of Research to make available to incubator clients some of the resources available at the medical school.

Physical Science
The incubator has developed partnerships with key resources at Wake Forest to be able to provide clients with access to sophisticated equipment and resources to enable a company to further develop their product or reach proof of concept. In addition to equipment and facilities, often faculty in these areas are willing to assist companies as an advisor.

Computer Science
Computer science and development of internet applications can be an important aspect of many businesses. The incubator has partnered with some community resources and can make introductions to the Wake Forest Computer Science Department.

Engineering
The incubator is finalizing a basic engineering workshop that can be used for prototype construction. The ship is also equipped to handle electronics design, test, and protopying. The shop is available to clients of the incubator as needed. In addition, the incubator has partnered with the Wake Forest University / Virgina Tech School of Biomedical Engineering to provide resources as required.
